About Us
Our Story
York Farm Vineyard at 28901 NE 66th ave Battle Ground is a small farm in Clark County Washington. We have cattle, horses, just over two acres of Pinot Noir wine grapes first planted in 2012 and a variety of berries and fruit. Our goal is to provide people with the taste of Pinot Noir wine from our farm in Clark County Washington and are expanding our fruit and berry wines. Our Pinot Noir grapes are dry farmed, have never been sprayed with roundup and are 100% grown on our estate. Our Pinot Noir wine is only made in our small winery. Growing grapes and making wine is our way of doing a lot of hard work to try to be sustainable in Clark County Washington.
Our Land
Our twenty acres was and still is a cattle farm. It has been used over the years as a hay field and cattle farm. The soil is a clay loam. The property is mostly flat with a slight slope toward a winter creek.
Our Wines
York Farm Vineyard specializes in making Pinot Noir. Our Pinot Noir unlike many, is a dark red wine. Each year is different depending on mostly the weather. In addition we are working on expanding our fruit wine varieties.
